How to play

Every run has two halves. First you make a block in a mould, layer by layer. Then you unmould it and take it apart with your tools. What you poured is what you'll see inside when you cut.

Make & Match

Layer it, slice it, match the picture. Each level shows a target cross-section; earn up to three stars.

Sand Freeplay

No rules. Pour, stack and slice kinetic sand for as long as you like.

Soap Studio

Pour, score, shave and crack open soap levels.

Soap Freeplay

Any mould. Fill it with glitter, jelly or foam, crack it, cube it.

Sand

  1. Pour layers. Hold LMB over the mould to pour. Pick colours with 1–8.
  2. Pack it. Press T to tamp the sand down so the layers stay crisp.
  3. Unmould. Press Enter to lift the mould off.
  4. Slice it open. Use the knife, wire or your finger to reveal the layers. Press F when you're happy with the cut.

Soap

  1. Pour colours. Hold LMB to pour, 1–8 for colour. Marble it with Swirl W, drop shapes in with Embed E.
  2. Let a layer set. Press T for a crisp line between colours. Only wet soap moves when you swirl.
  3. Cup and fill (optional). Press a cup into the soap with C and choose ultrathin, thin crust or thick. Fill it with glitter, jelly or foam, then pour soap on top to seal it.
  4. Cure & unmould. Press Enter.
  5. Score, plane, squeeze. Score a grid, shave it with the planer so cubes pop off, or pick it up and squeeze until the shell cracks and the filling squishes out.

The short version

  • The full game sends nothing to us. Your settings and progress stay on your computer.
  • The free demo sends basic play statistics (your Steam ID and name, how long you played, runs used) so we can see how the demo is received.
  • No ads, no third-party trackers, and we never sell or share your data.
  • Email us and we'll delete anything we hold about you.

Who we are

Mix & Slice: ASMR Simulator is made by Levend Turgay, who is responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at mixslice@levendturgay.com.

Data stored on your device

The game saves your settings (graphics, sound, language, controls) and your progress (stars and best scores) locally on your computer. This never leaves your device. Uninstalling the game and removing its save folder deletes it.

Steam

Mix & Slice is sold and launched through Steam, which is run by Valve Corporation. Valve handles your account, purchases and the Steam overlay under its own privacy policy. The demo also records a few counters in your Steam stats (sand runs, soap runs, play time and Buy clicks). These are stored by Steam on your account and we see them only as totals across all players.

Demo play statistics

When you play the free demo, it sends short messages to our server at the start and end of a session, about once a minute while you play, and when you finish a run or click Buy. Each message contains:

  • your Steam ID and Steam display name
  • a random session ID and the seconds played in that session
  • what happened (a run started, the demo limit was reached, Buy was clicked) and which material you used
  • the game version, your operating system, graphics card and language

We use this only to understand how long people play, which parts they enjoy and whether the demo works on their hardware. We rely on our legitimate interest in improving the game. The full game does not send these statistics.

How long we keep it

Demo statistics are kept for up to 24 months after the demo ends, then deleted. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to answer them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to us processing it. Email us with your Steam profile name or ID and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages, but the demo statistics are not meant for children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.

Contact
